Agree. Being targeted for trauma and then hated and despised for talking about it--somehow I assume progressive communities/individuals will be better but they're not. Sometimes they're worse. Because progressive communities are often organized around neoliberal ideas and the idea that autonomy and self-expression is the ultimate human ideal, and we introduce ideas of care and responsibility to others and they don't want to deal with it.
