Agree. Even attempts at anti oppression work around race tend to coincide with imposed categorizations. The idea of white people vs people of color is clearly rooted in racist norms of purity/otherness. It draws a relatively arbitrary line between white peoples who have been colonized, and people of color who have been. Who does that serve?
