Agree that basic education in consent and respect would be valuable.

And I do think that boys and girls need time to explore what being a man, a woman, a genderqueer person etc means to me. The work of forming your identity deliberately and recognizing what you need to keep yourself and others safe is real work. We keep kids spinning their wheels in school and it’s no wonder people have to do that work as adults.

But I think the bottom line is, men need safety to recover from being bullied and harassed by other men. A safe place to grow emotionally. Women and men need to find each other.
