Also, in case it’s not self-evident: multiple facts can be true. A woman can be exploitative in her approach to sexuality, and still be assaulted. A woman can misuse her privilege to advance her own story, and still be a “real” victim. A woman can be a feminist, and still act in ways oppressive to other women.
If you can’t handle these complications, I understand. But intersectional oppression exists, and it impacts the lives of other women. If you are interested in doing feminist work, you should probably be interested in more women’s experiences and ideas than only those who look like you.
