Compromise is necessary. But you’re also comparing millions of people in this country living and dying in poverty, being raped, not having health care etc. to a bad itch.
The point of these systems is to make sure a small number of people get what they need while most people, the majority of people, suffer and die early.
So what bothers you a little, to me has destroyed my life. For others, it has killed them outright.
We are fighting for our lives. It does seem that the tiny number of people who these structures work for are fighting like hell to hold onto them, insisting they work.
For who?
