Definitely.
I mean, I hear you. I’m a millennial Jew and I was always “the smart one” so I similarly was taught to work hard, go to a fancy college—then meet a nice Jewish boy, give up my whole professional life, and have lots of babies.
It sucks cuz my passions were treated like hobbies and basically all my hobbies were structured to make me more attractive in the eyes of potential future richer white Jewish high earning husbands.
We can be so much more creative with our lives than this.
