Definitely hear you on the idea that a lot of men out there are some woman’s nightmare and don’t even know it.

But I actually don’t think it’s true that girls need more education about consent. Girls already take on far too much responsibility for male behavior. Girls don’t say yes because we think we have to, we say yes because we feel pressured by our peer group, by patriarchal culture, and by the situation itself.

Girls don’t need to feel empowered to say no to sex we don’t want. We need to live in a society that lets us say no safely.
