Dude. The problem is you're actively reinforcing stereotypes about fat people that just are not factual. As someone mentioned, this person is a travel agent. They couldn't last in this position if they behaved as you're describing.

This person isn't a character, she's a stereotype.

Just describe her as fat and mention her insecurities about her weight, then keep fucking going. You haven't created a fat character, you've created someone whose general repulsiveness is wrapped up in stereotypes about fat people.

There's a difference.

And given that more than half of America is fat, you're offending a lot of damn people.

Make the best marketing decision, if you can't be arsed to empathize with a group you clearly don't respect.
