First, I really liked this article.

Second, the thing I hate the absolute most about nice guys is exactly what you named: I have no idea what they want.

Romance? Sex? Companionship while they hit on someone else? I’m never sure. I’m not entirely sure that these guys know, either. It seems more like they’ll accept whatever they get and pretend that’s what they wanted in the first place, so they never have to admit they feel rejected or vulnerable..and then if I ever dare ask for what I want, suddenly I’m a slut or needy or some other misogynistic term for girl who doesn’t do exactly what they want me to do.

I think what these guys really want is not me, or even sex or romance. It’s the high of getting someone to do something they don’t really want to do.

And that’s just despicable.
