First: if a man insists that you are responsible for his anger, if he scares you or blames you for his emotions, run.

Also though, I think it’s vitally important that we at least try to initiate a conversation with the other person if we feel disappointed or confused by their behavior. Sometimes others are dealing with something specific that they might be able to articulate if we give them the chance to.

You don’t need to give them a million chances. But if you feel disappointed or upset by someone’s behavior and don’t acknowledge it, you aren’t really giving them much of a chance, are you?
