Good intentions sometimes have to take a back seat to practical life requirements. Meetings have to start on time so they can end on time and people can go home. If individual incidents come up, fine, but the good of the whole has to trump the good of individual people sometimes. That's the difficult, perhaps necessary legacy of democracy.
