Honestly? I'm really struggling right now. I feel pressure to keep up appearances by buying on credit. I buy frugally and bargain-shop, but those purchases add up.
I also find that when I am not making much money, I am also in positions that expect substantial emotional labor from me, and where I feel I have little control at work. That feels very triggering and upsetting, and I self-soothe with pretty baubles.
Again, adds up.
Finally, I obsess over food, because I'm worried about Not Having Enough, which leads to hoarding behavior, not working out, not actually eating the food I buy, more anxiety, etc.
I'm sharing all this in hopes you have suggestions!!
