I agree that it’s not for the courts-but it’s also not considered a violation that communities can/will concern themselves with. Even liberal ones.
The man in this situation knew I was dealing with severe trauma, knew I had a disability and chronic illness. He still chose to treat me harmfully.
The end result was me being kicked out of the housing we shared, by the way. I was subleasing. They were his friends. Guess whose narrative won out.
