I agree that pretending to believe in body positivity while expressly approving of her own body only when she conforms to specific external standards is hypocritical and damaging. However, I disagree with the idea that Khloe's primary goal is to feel good about herself. Her own statements clearly indicate that she is desperately trying to feel attractive in the face of media and public criticism that consistently brands even her perfected images "ugly." It's time to stop blaming celebrities for trying to monopolize or trying to conform to unhealthy beauty standards that they did not create.
