I agree that we can and should set boundaries. I think the biggest impact this will have, though, is ultimately to drive away men who can't live up to our standards. Men are kind of right--women really are leveling up, and that really does disqualify a lot of them.

That's not such a bad thing.

It's just--where will all those men GO?

Serious question.

It's something I worry about a lot.

When we set higher boundaries, I'm afraid those men will become scary men, and more desperate, and will go attack our sisters who are too beaten down to demand better. I'm afraid they'll attack our sisters who are working-class and desperate for financial support, or survivors of third-generation sexual abuse and can't imagine anything better.

We have to fix them. Not just move them someplace else.

How do we make them want to fix themselves?
