I agree that women enable men by accepting shitty behavior as our due. But I don’t think that things will change just because women change. I truly don’t. Women will never provide enough incentive or threat to make men change. People don’t change because of external pressures only. So long as cultural patriarchy remains intact, men on the whole will keep doing what men have been doing for millennia. Individual women have got to quit blaming ourselves or each other. We need to quit waiting for the world to change and start literally changing the world.
