I agree with this. Internalized bias against women and conflating womanhood with sacrifice, self-harm, and suffering does no one any favors. I also think toxic femininity is the urge to self-annihilate, to pour money into products we believe will make us more beautiful instead of activities we believe will improve our sense of self-worth, etc.
