I am so, so grateful to you for sharing this story. It helped me remember that a “friend” once drugged me at a party.

It’s actually surprising to me that he got away with it because there were other people in the room who watched me pass out at 9 o’clock at night in his bed. They just left me there. I asked him about it later but he said nothing happened.

When you’re weird or neurodivergent or already a survivor or fat or disabled, guys can get away with doing a whole lot to you and nobody stops them.

It’s not my fault. It’s not our fault we can’t date or go to parties or be safe in the world.
