I can’t speak for my generation, but I can say that I was simultaneously taught that I could do anything if I “tried hard,” and never taught to do a whole host of things necessary to succeed.

There’s a reason why there are so many workshops that teach millennials how to schedule, how to interview, and how to plan a career.

It’s cuz no one else ever taught us.
