I disagree. I’ve been in therapy for years and I’ve watched friends with zero past trauma engage in relationships they insisted were nothing but beautiful and I’ve seen these same dynamics play out. Her “soulmate” beat her up last night or drank too much and tried to rape her or turned out to be cheating or ghosted her.
It’s all over once you open your eyes.
