I feel in general, men spend way too much time setting themselves up as high status and not nearly enough time demonstrating their interest directly. Men expect me to do the emotional work, to decipher their actions and then give me all the time they need to express their feelings however they wish to. If I’m direct, they see it as a threat to their masculinity and their ego.

I just want to be with a man who is secure enough to tell me what he wants from me.
