I feel like I’ve gotten dragged into a conversation I don’t remember want to have. If you want to write an article, do it. If you don’t want to take my advice, don’t. But it sounds to me like you’re planning to argue gender has less impact on lives experience than personality does. Seems to me that you’re trying to write about the discrepancy between gender and sex, or feminine/masculine traits as opposed to male/female. That’s great if you’re talking just to men, but feminists have been talking about that for ages and you should reference the scholarship others have already done on the subject.

I think it’s a good idea. But my point remains. The vast majority of physical violence is committed by men, not masculine people.
