I feel that way about a lot of the guys I date. Like I know full well that they laugh at misogynistic humor to fit in with other guys, and we both pretend they don’t so I can feel good about them and they can believe they’re good enough for me.

But that’s not character. It’s coping.

We all deserve better from straight men.
