I fully believe that women must require more of our male partners, from the very beginning. We don’t set boundaries, we respond to men’s tactics of intimidation by backing off and giving in. As a result, our self-esteem suffers, our sex lives suffer, we cede ground we don’t need to cede.

Though I think really the bottom line is, men unwilling to collaborate fairly are men unable to be effective partners.
