I have been drawn to narcissists because both my parents display narcissistic tendencies. I have tried to obey the family rule to never get angry at my father by finding other men to abuse me as he did. Men who viewed me as the solution to their social problems and massive insecurity. Men who liked me best when I admired them and obsessed over their every move.

Men who fled when I got angry, or tried to hold them accountable, or even just communicated that they had hurt me.

Men who are rich and white and have convinced themselves their successes are due to their superiority, not due to their privilege.
