I have had so many relationships, both professional and personal, where the guy loses his shit the instant I set boundaries.

I wish women would all collectively set boundaries immediately, and deal with the fallout. We know when guys are too immature to handle another person with separate needs. We know when we don’t feel safe to have “unsanctioned” needs. But we don’t leave.

I’ve stayed with doctors, kept watching tv shows, stayed at trainings and presentations and conferences, maintained relationships with relatives, and stayed interested in men who made me uncomfortable or disgusted or scared.

Time to trust our instincts.
