I mean--so when the women of color in my classes started showing up without bras, I'll admit, I was weirded out. Then I was envious. However. There is a difference between women with a race/class analysis doing this, and women who do not have it. I have interacted with upper middle class white women who patrol the space of sexuality and have frankly not accepted any hint of sexuality on the part of my fat disabled biracial self, and no, I don't see much benefit to me at all in any damn thing they do.
