I one hundred percent agree. I am willing to be a person with flaws. I am willing to be my whole self. But men look so upset, men look so betrayed, when I act like a person. When I don’t immediately respond the way they expect me to, they see it as a violation of my prescribed role, and they respond by trying to discipline me back into womanhood. Which is really the same as girlhood.

I am a person. With flaws and strengths. A person.
