I really appreciate this perspective. And yes, I absolutely tend to romanticize people I like and/or love in general. I know where my boundaries are, but I ignore them when I’m lonely or feel pressured and off-center.
That feeling is a good reason to leave the current situation, though. It’s not “love” and it doesn’t mean I should invest.
