I really feel like men have no idea how scary the world is for women.
My experience is also that men confident of their social status tend to equate boundaries with social norms and enjoy shaming women who cross them, especially women they’re ashamed of themselves for being attracted to.
Women, on the other hand, especially marginalized women, struggle to articulate the rules we need others to follow so we can be safe-and they typically ignore us.
