Recent situation: housemate I was attracted to hit on me. I responded negatively because I knew he had a girlfriend. He then backtracked and pretended he hadn’t just spent the past few weeks flirting with me, and invited her over that night..then invited his OTHER lover over the next day because it turns out they were in an open relationship, which he didn’t tell me and which would have been a much earlier hell no from me had I known.

I’m still pretty angry because I feel like the power dynamic was messed up from the beginning. My consent had I given it would not have been informed. He was not interested in extending that care to me. I’m glad I said no but I continue to feel extremely creeped out by that experience.
