I think it’s misguided predatory holdover. Men used to chase prey, now they chase women to assuage those predatory instincts. But it’s not really inherently sexual, and that’s why men so often come off as aggressive.

And guys who really like you, they have no game and fall completely apart and need help..

But the bottom line I think is not to confine each other unnecessarily. Not to shame women or men based on how they show up or what their style is.
