I think it's so important to know yourself. I prefer to get to know someone slowly: when someone comes on too strong, I back off. However, when someone acts inconsistent or shady, I often come on very strong as a means to test them--which usually scares them off, too bad so sad.

I've come across a lot of misogynists, and I appreciate your explanation of what that looks like. I've tried so hard to change these guys, so often, with my love or care or affection, and it never works. They want women they can control and use to enhance their status in the eyes of other men. And I want..well I'm still figuring out what I want, but I want so much more than that!
