I think some of this piece is certainly well written and to the point.

But also? It is not your wife’s job to “understand” your anger or to help you control it. This might have been a meaningful journey for you, but what an absurd waste of her time and creative energy. How narcissistic that the writer still does not see this.

Definitely a misreading of Atwood.

Just a misreading of women and power, period. Women sit around complaining about men because we are afraid if we assert ourselves to men directly, they will hurt us.
