I think the biggest trouble is that there is not a deep appreciation for the fact that Jewish women have been oppressed politically for thousands of years. Or that this has had an impact. That the stereotype of the Jewish woman who henpecks her husband emerged because she had no power anywhere outside of the home.

Now, so many Jewish men seek more and more freedom, more and more power, anywhere they can, offering Jewish women very little but still demanding everything, and Jewish women spend our entire lives being told we are ugly and undeserving compared to white women, so we accept whatever we are given.
