I think the great thing about boundaries is that they do the work of preventing people with high standards from entangling with people who believe they shouldn't have to meet those high standards. I see a lot of talking around the issue here, but not a lot of acknowledgment of others' rights to develop whatever boundaries we please for whatever purposes we please. If you don't respect someone else' right to determine what kind of behavior they want in their space, you don't respect that person. Please don't leave comments telling women you've never met before whether or not you're interested in dating them. Nobody asked for that information from you. And no one is interested.
