I understand your perspective but I disagree. Women need to reclaim the right to these words. We’ve been so terrified of being called nags or scolds, as in there was a literal “scold’s bridle” back in the day, that we are afraid to criticize. We’re afraid to reject men because we don’t want to bring retaliation. We’re afraid of being associated with any word that isn’t positive and sunny and warm.
