I was beautiful when I was young. It was terrible. Men would stare at me and hit on me and make me feel like an object. Girls would despise me and try to bring me down and bully me with glee. Old men would try to be near me with any excuse.

I didn’t know I was beautiful at the time. I thought people treated me that way because I was ugly. I understood intuitively though that it was not about me.

Now I am taking care of myself again and I am getting beautiful again.

And I’m afraid of losing what I now have.
