I was just considering that effect straight privilege, not pretty privilege per se. But I basically just argued this same point in my other comment lol. People treat disabled people like crap regardless of our features or body type because they can, and because being unhealthy or disabled is not pretty.
But I don’t really consider the fact that racism impacts how people are treated to be pretty privilege, because that means giving away the power of beauty and I won’t do that. It’s just flipping racism and white supremacist beauty standards. Unfun to navigate as a fat woman or a Jewish woman-but it’s the same old bullshit. And we should be in it together.
