I’m pretty sure that I of all people am entitled to comment on this case.
I’m also pretty sure that you are projecting your personal experience onto strangers in order to justify your beliefs.
Having a spouse who abuses substances to the point of blackout on a regular basis is not a “lifestyle choice.”
If you can argue that, you’ve gone past the point logic can follow.
