The main idea is to recognize that it’s still mostly men killing women and mostly men raping women. So instead of going “hey but we should really be talking about this other thing,” you say “ladies, if you want to better understand how to help your man recover from toxic masculinity, check yourself on your own toxic behaviors”.

So that you’re not trying to have a different conversation, you’re expanding the conversation that already exists.
