I can’t help but wish you would challenge yourself and read one of my many, many stories about being raped or sexually abused as a child by many men.
Most media in this country is created by and for white men. If it does not reflect your experience, and I would agree that it does a shitty job of cultivating a true look at what white men think or feel in real life, perhaps the trouble is not women.
Perhaps the trouble is that white men perpetuate fantasies about themselves to try to please or impress others, and out of fear of facing the depth of your own pain.
I believe the choice is not between trying to be a tame hero, or a wild beast.
I think the choice is about trying to figure out what you actually are, what you already are, and why. Not because someone else loves or hates you.
