I’m Jewish and I think you’re onto something.
I will say that assimilating to whiteness has made a lot of Jews hate themselves and despise Jewish women and try to look white. Internalized antisemitism is tragically still very active.
However, I think that the impact is much less than the impact of anti-Blackness at this point.
It’s strange to me because as a biracial Jewish woman, I learned self-love from reading Black women theorists.
