I’m not sure I know the difference between a psychopath and a narcissist. I have encountered a lot of narcissists in m time. I have encountered some men who responded to early childhood trauma by becoming psychopathic in this way.
One key tell us they never have real stories about themselves and their own lives. They never tell stories that would allow people to laugh at them, or with them, or see them as weak.
They’re also totally disconnected from their own vulnerability or past trauma.
So they avoid offering stories of themselves as much as possible.
