I’m not sure what your point is. Obviously no one’s going to disagree on teaching people empathy. But in the meantime, we have rules. We have social laws, just like we have legal ones.

Not to enforce empathy. But to enforce justice.

Relying on empathy will take forever and I am not prepared to wait that long.
