It’s like people took a decent concept, self-help, and then decided if this tool worked in one specific way, it would work for everything.
It’s like that saying: when all you know how to use is a hammer, everything looks like a nail.
But humans need so many things. We need community. We need safety.
We need our laws to be followed and to be applied to every person.
We need to understand what’s expected of us by those around us.
We need Justice.
Without these things, can we heal fully?
I don’t think so.
I think we stay broken until we get what we need.
