It’s messed up how much of an entrance fee there is to these fields. We’re expected to purchase a car, a set of suits and accessories, drinks with colleagues. We’re buying a lifestyle. Not to mention college loans.
The assumption is that working in an office means you’re making enough to live on. You’re not.
