It’s not exactly true that he was never charged for molesting Dylan. The prosecutor dropped the charges to protect little Dylan and for fear of basing his prosecution on the testimony of a child. There was enough evidence to launch a lengthy investigation and he clearly believed Allen did it, as did the social worker who investigated.
