I've found that it's very easy to convince men to listen to me when I tell them what to do...if by "easy" you mean incredibly arduous. Men want women to deliver statements to them gently, to make statements in an easily digestible and palatable way, to never harm their egos. Men view women as cheerleaders, moms, or other forms of support, not as actual authorities.
