I’ve had a lot of situations with men I liked where there was no winning. Say yes, they see you as less than and move on real fast. Say no, they simply hook up with someone else, and expect you to excuse their behavior because “boys will be boys.” Turn them on too much, they can’t possibly sleep with you because they’ll put in a bad performance so they find some woman they desire less.

It’s all extremely painful. And what’s more, men seem bored by the pain they cause.
